As an Administrative Assistant, Group Benefits Western Canada, you help carry out administrative activities for your sector. You provide support to a team of two directors and a manager, and other members of the Western Canadian Business Development team as needed. You coordinate, plan, and prioritize management activities, interacting with various stakeholders. You are expected to make proactive, independent decisions and execute tasks in line with your unit's needs. Effective communication and adaptability are essential. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting document creation, updating, layout, production, and linguistic revision across sectors
  • Managing internal administrative tasks such as sales follow-up, dashboard updates, expense tracking, inventory, and performance evaluations
  • Managing and following up on managers' and directors' agendas, calls, emails, and mail
  • Preparing for and attending meetings, including writing minutes and ensuring follow-up
  • Organizing logistics for events such as team meetings, committees, and travel
  • Participating in budget preparation and monitoring, analyzing variances
  • Supporting management reporting activities
  • Performing additional activities as needed
