Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing day to day clerical support to the College Facilities & Infrastructure department, specifically to Transportation, Maintenance, Caretaking, Grounds, and Security. This includes the maintenance of a computerized maintenance system as well as a computerized key system. This position also compiles data for preparing chargebacks, special reports, requisitions, purchase orders, and expense reports for entry into PeopleSoft. This position is a liaison between internal and external departments.

Other duties and tasks include;

  • Receive and assign work orders to appropriate department personnel
  • Manage vehicle bookings
  • Assist supervisors with timesheets and relevant recordkeeping
  • Assist in developing/clarifying policies and procedures for the department

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of college education in a related field; 2 years is preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational, written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Work, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge in computerized maintenance software, spreadsheet applications, and budget processes is an asset
  • Ability to assess urgency of inquiries and work orders; ability to maintain composure when dealing with emergency situations

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Permanent AUPE appointment at the Vermilion campus, commencing June 16, 2025. The current salary range is $42,148 - $53,116 per annum and includes a generous benefit package and pension plan.
