Job summary

Coast Claims Insurance Services, an independent adjusting firm in Western Canada, is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant (Claims Support) to join our team. You will provide essential administrative and claims support to our adjusters, helping ensure claims are managed efficiently and clients receive outstanding service.

This role focuses on file management, document preparation, billing administration, and client service while working with experienced insurance professionals.

Qualifications

  • Administrative or office support experience in professional services environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, and business documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Outlook/Excel).
  • Data entry and keyboarding skills.
  • Professional judgment and discretion with confidential information.
  • Experience with invoicing or accounts receivable is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and claims support to a team of adjusters.
  • Prepare, proofread, and process reports, correspondence, invoices, and other claim-related documents.
  • Open, maintain, and update electronic claim files and information systems.
  • Support billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and payment processing activities.
  • Coordinate claim-related documentation, requests, and supporting information.
  • Deliver professional reception and customer service to clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Help ensure claims files are managed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.

What You'll Do
