RBC Dominion Securities in Simcoe is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to a high performing Advisory Team. You will deliver quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, handling client inquiries, onboarding clients, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

  • High level of time management and organization.
  • Demonstrated world-class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.

What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Simcoe is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to a high performing Advisory Team.

You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team.

What will you do?
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisor with their clients/prospects.
  • Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
  • Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
  • Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, with a proficiency in Excel
  • High level of time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication in English
Nice-to-have
  • Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures
  • Experience in the securities industry is an asset

Compensation

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range
  • The expected pay range for this position is: $35,000.00 - $47,000.00
  • This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to: 0.5x
