What is the opportunity?

RBC Dominion Securities is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic advisory team specializing in wealth management services for a sophisticated clientele. You will help grow the business by providing exceptional service, managing administrative duties related to client accounts, and responding to client inquiries.

What will you do?

  1. Provide professional and prompt service via phone and email to clients, advisors, and partners.
  2. Assist Investment Advisors with administrative tasks for client accounts.
  3. Help prepare client reviews and presentations.
  4. Gather information and documentation from clients to open and update accounts.
  5. Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  6. Monitor pending transfers for timely completion.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent client service skills, maintaining professionalism, warmth, and friendliness.
  • Bilingual in English and French, serving clients and partners across Canada.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice-to-have

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), or willingness to complete within 12 months.
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures.
  • At least 2 years of experience in securities or financial services.
