Job summary

A New Tomorrow Treatment Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Addiction Counsellor for full-time temporary leave coverage. The role is on-site in Kamloops and reports to the Clinical Services Manager. The incumbent will provide crisis management, family therapy, and trauma-informed treatment within an interdisciplinary team.

The position supports both adult and youth divisions, emphasizes culturally respectful care, and maintains detailed client records while collaborating with community partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent administrative, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Master’s degree required and active professional registration.
• Experience with addiction, mental health and recovery preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead for crisis management, suicide risk assessment and conflict resolution.
• Provide family therapy in support of client’s recovery.
• Incorporate First Nations culture into treatment programming via Indigenous partners.
• Maintain client records and documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure program delivery is client-centered.
