Job summary

The Muslim Association of Canada is seeking qualified supply teachers to cover classes when regular teachers are absent in Ontario schools. You will follow lesson plans, support student learning, manage the classroom, and maintain a safe, orderly environment.

Required credentials include a Teachers’ College Certification and QECO rating. You may work across multiple schools with varying schedules, upholding MAC policies and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Teachers’ College Certification and QECO rating are required.
• Experience with Ontario Curriculum and diverse learning styles is important.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to the school office at the start of the day and sign in/out as required.
• Implement the prescribed program of study based on lesson plans.
• Create a positive learning environment and guide students toward curriculum goals.
• Take attendance and maintain classroom order and safety.
• Uphold school safeguarding policies and communicate incidents as needed.
