Responsibilities

The Nurse Manager is a member of the Management Team, responsible and accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer. They will supervise nursing staff, manage departmental budgets, oversee resources and supplies, and ensure quality patient care in accordance with legislation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario; active member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario is an asset
• Management education and 5 years of management experience are assets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Experience in policy development and implementation
• Basic computer skills
