Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health System (SJHS) in Hamilton, Ontario seeks a Registered Social Worker for a 11-month, full-time assignment across Charlton Campus, Reactivation Care Centre Dundas, and Satellite Health Facility.

You will provide psychosocial assessments, counselling, case management, education, and discharge planning to support recovery and quality of life. Required: Bachelor of Social Work; Master’s preferred; registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers; 2 years acute care hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (clinical) from an accredited university.
• Masters of Social Work (clinical) preferred.
• Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers required.
• 2 years acute care hospital social work experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
