Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking an actuarial intern for its Property & Casualty practice in Canada. You will assist in pricing, valuation and development of insurance products while learning financial modeling and risk management techniques.

Expect exposure to client projects, mentorship from credentialed actuaries and opportunities to progress actuarial credentials. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, meticulous documentation and adherence to Excellence guidelines, with a hybrid

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or similar with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
• Demonstrates technical and/or client service skills and leadership through work or extracurricular activities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Eligible to graduate between Dec 2027 and Jun 2029.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing, valuation and development of insurance products.
• Develop financial projections for clients’ insurance business.
