Echelon Insurance, part of the CAA Club Group, seeks an Actuarial student to work across Pricing, Corporate, or Business Intelligence/Analytics in Mississauga and Montreal. The role offers exposure to data extraction, reserves, and financial reporting, with collaboration across actuarial and management teams.

Ideal candidates are analytically minded, highly organized, and pursuing Actuarial Science or related fields, with familiarity in Excel, VBA, Python, SAS, and SQL as assets.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program focusing on Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Knowledge of Excel, VBA, Python, SAS, SQL or similar languages is an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Run data extraction applications and analyze results.
• Support monthly reserve reviews and analyze claims diagnostics.
• Estimate liabilities for review with senior management.
• Assist in month-end financial reporting.
• Contribute to capital management initiatives and IFRS 17 projects.
• Support rate filings, product reviews, and competitive analysis.
