1. Lead and perform quarterly IFRS 17 valuation for Life and Annuity lines of business, including running the AXIS model for reserve analysis, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
2. Analyze movements in key IFRS 17 components and explain drivers of change.
3. Collaborate with Finance, Investment, and Modelling teams to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
4. Assist in assumption setting and impact analysis for valuation reporting.
5. Support internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance related to IFRS 17 processes and outputs.
6. Identify opportunities to streamline valuation processes and improve reporting efficiency through automation and tool development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related Business degree.
• Strong proficiency in GGY AXIS, Excel, and programming tools (Python, VBA, SQL) is an asset.
