Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is looking for an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. The group helps ensure the firm and its personnel are in compliance with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. This role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards and policies related to personal independence, including those established by the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies, consulting with subject matter experts and reviewing internal risk management manuals.
• Conduct personal independence compliance audits, monitoring adherence to standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches.
• Monitor the KICS help desk, research inquiries, and respond to reports related to investments and independence policies.
• Assist partners and staff with compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

What You Bring To The Role

• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in business or finance preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills to interpret standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Business-level English fluency is required.

Compensation

The salary range is $54,000 to $81,000, potentially with bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
