You will collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, BI and IT teams, build rating calculators, assist with rate filings, and contribute to market research while advancing your actuarial knowledge in property and casualty.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
  • Successful completion of two CAS exams and all VEE credits, pursuing ACAS.
  • Property and casualty insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Excel/SQL/analytical tools listed above.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, produce and maintain custom reports and analyses for business needs.
  • Query and analyze data from diverse sources to provide insights.
  • Support pricing, product and process changes across AMA Insurance.
  • Create and maintain rating calculators for pricing and underwriting updates.
  • Develop test plans and coordinate UAT to ensure accurate implementations.
  • Support changes involving the insurance rating engine and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to rate filings with profiles, rate pages and documentation.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions.
