Reporting to and under the supervision of the Program Coordinator - Mobile Adult Day Centre, and in conjunction with clients, staff, and volunteers, assists Mobile Adult Day Centre (ADC) program clients in activities and assists with Activities of Daily Living. Operates a motor vehicle to deliver and return ADC items from predetermined site to various destinations.
Grade 12 plus completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe. Valid Class 5 driver's license required, valid Class 4 (unrestricted) driver's license preferred.
The Mobile Adult Day Program supports the communities of Metchosin, Cordova Bay, and Sooke. The program's home base is Aberdeen hospital. Employees can meet the van along the way or meet onsite at program locations.
Shift times - Start & End: Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
