Job summary

YMCA BC seeks a compassionate Activity Leader, Substitute and ECEA Substitute to support before/after school programs for children aged 5–12. You will design engaging activities, supervise staff, and contribute to inclusive care plans across our Chetwynd locations.

Casual/on-call role with shifts 7:30am–5:30pm, competitive hourly pay, and access to YMCA facilities. Training, benefits, and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Experience with children ages 5–12 and delivering engaging programs.
• Ability to plan and lead inclusive indoor/outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of high-quality programs for ages 5–12.
• Design and lead indoor/outdoor activities promoting learning and inclusion.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to staff and volunteers.
