Cogir Senior Living is seeking an Active Living Aide to assist in planning, organizing and implementing meaningful programs for residents in our Canadian retirement residences. This role supports a range of activities and fosters engaging, person-centered experiences for seniors.

Reporting to the Active Living Manager, you will collaborate with staff to maintain records, coordinate outings and assist with meals while upholding the organization’s values of ethics, integrity and compassion.

Formación

• College diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Gerontology or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and compassionate disposition.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, organizing and implementing meaningful programs for residents.
• Maintain department records including assessments, evaluations and participation charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, volunteers and staff.
• Attend in-service education to stay informed about elder care trends.
• Support residents with scheduled outings and daily activities, and assist with meal services as needed.
