Job summary

Blue Mantis Canada is seeking an Active Directory Analyst for a hybrid Toronto/Mississauga contract role. You will provision and manage AD accounts, ensuring proper access to apps and systems while coordinating with infrastructure and application teams.

The position focuses on ServiceNow ticketing, security provisioning, change management, and documentation. Strong communication skills are essential in a fast-paced IT services environment supporting North American clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Active Directory administration and identity/access management.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of access controls, security policies, and compliance.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Active Directory accounts and access to applications.
• Work directly with clients to assist with account setup, security permissions, and access management.
• Liaise with infrastructure and application teams to ensure proper access provisioning.
• Process and maintain ServiceNow requests for security provisioning.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver Active Directory administration processes and documentation.
• Provide technical support in migrations and ongoing operations.
• Coordinate changes with support teams following change management processes.
• Handle service desk requests, fulfill work requests, and resolve issues.
• Communicate with clients, partners, and service teams via email and phone.
• Assist with special projects and IT initiatives as needed.
• Manage the ticket lifecycle and ensure proper tracking of requirements.
• Train and guide users on best practices for software applications and system access.

Description

The Active Directory Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and securing user access within an organization. This position is responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access to systems and applications, and collaborating with technical teams to support identity and access management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Active Directory accounts and access to applications.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience in Active Directory administration and identity/access management.
• PowerShell scripting (familiarity with writing or running scripts)
• Excel experience (familiarity with VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS, PIVOT TABLES)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong understanding of security policies, access controls, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot account and access issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Experience with change management and documentation processes.
