Job description

The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for an Acting Vice Principal at Westmount School effective the start of the 2025 / 2026 school year. Strathmore is situated on the Trans Canada Highway and only 25 minutes commute from Calgary.

Westmount School is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school. They aspire to be an exemplary powerful learning community committed to ensuring an inclusive collaborative thinking culture. Teachers that are interested in collaboration teamwork and culture building are encouraged to apply.

Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications :

• Evidence of leading for learning and strong teaching skills
• Positive interpersonal relations with staff parents and community members
• Evidence of ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision-making environment and to promote a positive culture
• Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) or evidence of progress towards a Masters Degree
• Supportive of direction from principal and desire to advance to this role
