Job description

An opening exists for a Manager focused on land acquisitions and managing the property portfolio, including both potential and existing assets. We are seeking an experienced development/financial analyst or existing Development or Asset Manager with experience in residential and mixed-use developments and a strong ability to manage an existing portfolio of commercial projects.

The Acquisition Manager will be responsible for reviewing and managing new property acquisition assessments, including development potential, municipal restrictions, and financial projections. The role involves locating and researching potential acquisitions and working directly with senior management to draft and execute agreement documentation, including JV agreements, land, and construction financing.

The Manager will also manage the company's existing assets through contract negotiations, contract monitoring, lease preparations, and full asset management, including capital budgeting and planning.

Candidates should have direct or related experience in residential and mixed-use developments, along with post-secondary education in development, finance, or business administration. Demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and acting like an "owner" in daily tasks and responsibilities are essential.
