An established industry player is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeper to support their finance department in Burlington. This full-time position involves managing accounts receivable, maintaining financial records, and assisting with month-end closing. We’re currently hiring for an Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeper to join our team in Burlington. This full-time role supports our finance department with day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on managing accounts receivable and maintaining accurate financial records.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to independently manage tasks and timelines are key to success in this role.
Location: Burlington, ON
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wage: $23+/hour (dependent on experience and knowledge)
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Process accounts receivable: create and send invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
– Keep financial records current using QuickBooks Online, including regular reconciliations
Assist with month-end closing and generate standard financial reports
– Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing and account issues
– Use Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) for day-to-day documentation and reporting
– Use Slack for internal communication (if applicable)
– Work with our in-house CRM system (training will be provided)
Requirements:
– Previous experience with QuickBooks Online
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Clear and professional communication
– Experience with Slack is an asset
