Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is recruiting for a contract full-time Accounts Payable Associate to support the AP team in Chatham. You will process high-volume invoices, perform matching and batching, and assist with vendor statement reconciliations.

On-site role with vaccination proof required; MMC offers HOOPP pension, comprehensive benefits, and flexible remote work options. Targeted hiring range is $47,552 - $52,303 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year post-secondary certificate in business or accounting.
• One to two years of related experience.
• Fast and accurate data entry skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Healthcare industry experience is an asset.
• Knowledgeable in using accounting software.
• Good customer relationship management skills.
• Teamwork skills to work well in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid analytical, mathematical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily accounts payable transactions, including matching, batching, and inputting a high volume of accounts payable invoices.
• Assists with the reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Assists with vendor inquiries regarding payment of invoices.
• Maintains confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Exhibits professionalism in all aspects of business etiquette, personal appearance, and actions.
