Job summary

IPG is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, optimize invoice processing, supplier payments, and internal controls. You will drive automation, support working capital goals, and develop the AP team.

You will manage cross-functional partnerships with Procurement, Treasury, Finance, and Operations, using data analytics and AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency. A proven leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience with 1-3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, financial controls, and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and AP automation platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analysis tools.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Proven success leading process improvement and change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team.
• Oversee day-to-day AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and AI adoption within the AP function.
• Develop and maintain AP reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve escalated payment issues.
• Partner closely with Procurement, Treasury, Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Contribute to working capital and cash flow improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and service levels across the AP process.

Accounts Payable Manager

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading the Accounts Payable function, ensuring efficient and accurate invoice processing, supplier payments, compliance, reporting, and continuous process improvement. This role plays a key part in driving automation, supporting working capital objectives, developing team capabilities, and enhancing the overall Procure-to-Pay process.
