Our client is a reputable and highly-regarded professional services firm, currently looking for a detail-oriented professional to join their team as a AP Administrator on a 12-month contract term.

Term: 12-month contract
Location: Vancouver, BC
Expected Salary Range: $48,000 - 52,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices in a timely manner, including reviewing, verifying, and matching.
  • Review employee expenses and process them according to policies and procedures.
  • Prepare payments and process them via various methods; reconcile transactions.
  • Handle vendor inquiries and issues, and maintain good relationships with vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all AP transactions, invoices, and payments.
  • Regularly update financial records and ledgers.
  • Handle tax remittance, such as GST and PST.
  • Support month-end closing and audits related to accounts payable activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience working with Sage 300 is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong professionalism at all times.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good team player who can collaborate effectively with others.
