ACCOUNTS PAYABLE POSITION – Woodbridge, NJ

Job Description

• Process high-volume invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams regarding billing issues
• Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and tax requirements (W-9s, 1099s)
• Assist with month-end close activities including accruals and reporting
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger to general ledger
• Collaborate with the purchasing and receiving departments to resolve any variances
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong professional relationships

What you Need :

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a Construction retail or high-volume environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAGE NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
