At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administratorto join our fast-paced, energetic company working from any of our locations (with possibility of remote work within our dealership area).

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the future of agriculture by providing AP support for our finance team. As an AP Administrator, you will process accounts payable activities such as invoices for all departments and maintaining vendor records for the company. In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices through the AP automation system
• Verify invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, adhere to payment terms, calculate discounts as appropriate
• Prepare and process cheques or online payments
• Review accounts and reconcile vendor statements
• Oversee AP records management
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries

Requirements

• Experience with using business system applications
• Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry preferred
• Thorough understanding of accounting fundamentals
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Admin expertise and knowledge of office procedures
• Knowledge of cash handling, AP and general ledgering processes
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Internet applications
• Accounting, Business Administration or related program an asset. A combination of education & experience may be considered
