Job summary

PBS Systems is seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Support Analyst to join our Client Services team. You will train customers in the accounting module of our software and support the install and training process for new dealerships.

This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication, and willingness to travel up to two weeks per month across Canada and the USA. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to ensure a smooth implementation and ongoing client success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Accounting Diploma/Certificate
• Must have valid Driver’s license
• Must know the fundamentals of basic accounting
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft products including Windows 10/11, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
• Automotive Dealership Accounting Department experience is an asset
• Customer service experience
• Possess excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Woks well both with a team and independently
• Ability to embrace variety, structure, change and innovation
• Available to work occasionally Saturday and/or Sunday due to travel schedule

Responsibilities

• Handling incoming external and internal issues, concerns, and requests through all support channels and ensuring timely resolution
• Logging and documenting all customer interactions in our ticketing system
• Collaborating with other groups to streamline service delivery
• Identifying opportunities to drive process improvements for the client’s experience
• Developing knowledge of our software and supporting infrastructure
• Achieving program certification within primary group within 3 months and further certifications within 15 months
• Meeting or exceeding KPI targets and department metrics
• Travel at least 1 week per month throughout the USA and Canada
• Staying updated on software enhancements and release notes
• Engaging in ongoing personal development and cross-training
• Other duties as required

The Role

PBS Systems is looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our Client Services team. As an Accounting Support Analyst, you will provide excellent training to our new and existing customers in the accounting module of our software, by assisting customers during develop, install and training process of their new dealership software.

Responsibilities

• Handling incoming external and internal issues, concerns, and requests through all our support channels (Phone, Email, Live Chat, etc.) within our department, and ensuring they are addressed in a professional and timely manner
• Logging and documenting all customer interactions within our ticketing system and escalating matters as required
• Collaborating with other groups/departments to streamline service delivery
• Identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the client’s experience
• Develop knowledge and understanding of our software and the supporting infrastructure.
• Achieve program certification within your primary group within 3 months and additional program certification/s within 15 months
• Achieving and exceeding KPI targets and other metrics defined by the department
• Available to travel at least 1 week per month throughout the USA and Canada
• Keeping abreast of software enhancements and new releases, by attending Apogees and reviewing release notes
• Commit to an ongoing personal development and cross-training as recommended by your Team Lead
• Other duties as required
