Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Inc. is seeking an Accounting specialist to provide financial information through research and analysis of accounts. The role focuses on general ledger entries, monthly reports, and supporting audits in a global logistics environment.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least three years of related experience, and strong English and Spanish communication, along with solid MS Office skills.

• Develops, maintains, and analyzes financial records to track assets, liabilities, profit and loss or other financial activities
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Provides support during annual audit process and assistance to perform annual tax filings
• Performs other duties as assigned

The Accounting specialist provides management and external users with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files and performs general cost accounting.
• Prepares monthly balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other financial reports required by management.
• Reconciles monthly bank accounts, payroll and other financial accounts.
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes financial records to track assets, liabilities, profit and loss or other financial activities.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Provides support during annual audit process and assistance to perform annual tax filings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting or related field, required.
• At least three years of related experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
