About the Role

CPA Pool Products Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist to take charge of day-to-day accounting activities. This is a hands-on execution role — ideal for someone who takes pride in clean books, accurate records, and well-documented processes.

You’ll be responsible for recording transactions, managing payables and receivables, reconciling accounts, and supporting internal financial reporting. You will be working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, so proficiency with this system is mandatory.

This is not a supervisory role — it's for someone who enjoys working through the details and doing things right the first time.

Core Responsibilities

• Enter and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain general ledger and post journal entries accurately and on time
• Track inventory-related transactions and reconcile COGS and variances
• Prepare and file GST, QST, and other government filings
• Support monthly and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain vendor, customer, and GL records in Business Central
• Assist with audit prep and internal financial reporting
• Follow documented accounting procedures and identify areas for efficiency
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams as needed in both English and French

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger structure
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
• Comfortable working independently and managing recurring tasks and deadlines
• Bilingual: Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
• Experience in a distribution, inventory, or manufacturing environment is a strong asset
