Your Role

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and analysis of general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

What You Will Do

1. Manage month-end closing for the three Canadian entities.
2. Analyze accounting data in MFP files to verify financial accruals.
3. Prepare and approve journal entries.
4. Oversee monthly OneStream reporting.
5. Complete and review GL account reconciliations.
6. Handle capital asset and CIP reconciliations.
7. Prepare financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
8. Liaise with Infosys and other corporate departments.
9. Respond to financial queries from GHO.
10. Prepare ad hoc financial reports as needed.
11. Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
12. Serve as POC for internal audits.
13. Investigate and resolve systems issues.
14. Provide guidance on accounting issues to operations.

What We Are Looking For

1. Strong knowledge of GAAP.
2. Understanding of Canada sales, VAT, and corporate taxes.
3. Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and systems.
4. Ability to work independently.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Organizational skills to meet deadlines.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
