Job summary

Environmental 360 Solutions (E360S) is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in Sudbury. You will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, and multi‑entity accounting operations in a fast‑growing organization, guiding a high‑performing team and partnering with operations and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting, ASPE knowledge, strong Excel and ERP experience (Sage 300 preferred), CPA asset is a plus, and

CPA designation would be considered an asset.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE.
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Review financial statements and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support annual financial statement preparation and compliance with ASPE.
Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting activities.
Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation entries and integration activities.
Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of acquisition-related transactions.
Maintain strong internal controls and support year-end audits.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and scalability as the business grows.
Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team in Sudbury.

You will oversee accounting operations across a complex multi‑entity organization, lead a high‑performing team, and play a key role in financial reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements.

What You'll Be Responsible For

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

CPA designation would be considered an asset.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE.
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a high‑growth or acquisitive organization.
Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or post‑acquisition integrations.
Experience with Sage 300 or similar ERP systems.
Background in environmental, industrial, or service-based industries.
Bilingual in English and French.
