The Executive Policy and Financial Services Branch is seeking to fill three (3) Accounting Clerk positions, including one (1) bilingual position requiring proficiency in both English and French. This position requires the incumbent to work on-site and provide front-line customer service to the public. Key responsibilities include processing payments related to court-ordered fines, restitution, bail, court fees, and garnishments, as well as reconciling daily payments and preparing deposits.
Additional duties include data entry, preparing correspondence, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and providing general administrative support. The incumbent interacts regularly with members of the public and other stakeholders, both in person and over the phone, is required to lift, carry, push, pull, and move files, records, office supplies, & storage/archive boxes weighing up to 40 lbs, and assists with other departmental responsibilities as required.
