The Role

We're looking for an Accounting Clerk to handle the day-to-day financial activities that keep our business running smoothly. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys contributing to both operations and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions.
• Maintain and update records, including invoice entry, payments, and transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and issue various financial documents (invoices, statements, periodic reports).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups and reminders.
• Respond to inquiries from various stakeholders and ensure proper follow-ups.
• Provide administrative support as needed and assist with other related tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Experience with Sage software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the overall Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
