Job summary

401 Group of Companies seeks an Accounting Clerk in Cambridge, Ontario. The role focuses on accurate accounts payable postings, reconciliation, and payments, with responsibility for filing and organizing financial documents.

You will also handle accounts receivable and other related accounting tasks as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting/finance and has 1–2 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration.
• Preferably 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• CPA designation is an asset but not required.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Accounts payables postings, reconciliation and payments for assigned location
• Organizing and filing financial documents
• Accounts receivables
• Other accounting responsibilities as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration
• Preferably a minimum of 1-2 years working experience in an accounting function
• Currently pursuing a CPA designation is an asset but not required
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
• Able to work independently and in a team

• Willing to work flexible hours
• Must be detail oriented
