Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin have partnered with a Winnipeg based company to hire an Accounting Assistant for an immediate temporary opportunity.

Benefits & Perks:

• Immediate temporary opportunity as an Accounting Assistant.
• Potential to extend and / or become temporary to hire.
• Convenient location with free parking.
• Monday to Friday onsite 830 am to 430 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Reconciliation
• Daily monitoring of incoming deposits and payment processing
• Assisting in data entry of payroll information
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries
• General administrative responsibilitiesincluding ordering supplies, filing and handling mail and courriers
• Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced accounting or bookkeeping role
• A mix of experience and post-secondary education may be considered
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to multi-task
• High level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
