This position reports to the Manager, Finance. Job responsibilities primarily involve financial processing and intercompany accounting, as detailed below. The role requires managing workload independently with limited supervision.

Accountabilities

Intercompany Accounting

  • Managing all incoming intercompany transactions.
  • Reviewing transactions for completeness and accuracy (e.g., payroll, intercompany billings, corporate allocations).
  • Reconciling intercompany payable/receivable balances with trading partners.
  • Addressing variances/issues and collaborating with trading partner teams to resolve them.

Finance and Internal Controls

  • Preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring documentation adheres to internal control guidelines.
  • Compiling monthly data trackers and ensuring adherence and completion.
  • Supporting external and internal audits by compiling data and responding to inquiries.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Preparing monthly financial reports for management.
  • Analyzing data and summarizing findings as needed.

Budgets, Forecasting, and Regulatory

  • Assisting in compiling annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Supporting regulatory filings and responding to data requests.

Other

  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Mentoring and training junior staff and students.
  • Supporting workload distribution through cross-training.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
