Job summary

ATCO is seeking an Accountant, Financial Reporting to compile monthly consolidated results, maintain financial models and prepare management reports for accurate corporate reporting. Responsibilities

• Compile monthly consolidated financial results.
• Maintain the monthly financial model and validate the accuracy of financial results.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and variance analysis for cost centres.
• Support the annual budget process for cost centres.
• Support quarterly and annual audit requirements, including preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports, schedules and journal entries.
• Complete and support corporate reporting requirements.

The Accountant, Financial Reporting supports accurate and timely financial reporting by compiling consolidated results, maintaining financial models, preparing management reports and completing journal entries and variance analysis. The role also supports budgeting, financial statement preparation, audit requirements and corporate reporting.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
