Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing public accounting team in mid-town Toronto. You will plan engagements, lead audits, prepare financial statements, and review work for quality and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public accounting, a university degree, and CPA/CA designation or near designation. Compensation ranges CA$75,000–CA$100,000 annually for a full-time role.

• CPA, CA designation, or very close to designation.
• University degree in relevant fields.

Our client in mid-town Toronto is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to add to their team:

CA$75,000.00–CA$85,000.00 yearly

Full-time

• Plan various engagements and prepare/lead complex audits, NTRs, financial statements and T1, T2, T3 tax returns
• Prepare personal and corporate tax planning
• Prepare and/or review financial statements in terms of accuracy, completeness and presentation
• Review own and junior's work for quality, accuracy and relevance
• Coach and motivate others to superior performance; develop the capabilities of less experienced staff through knowledge transfer, training and coaching
• Conduct research on technical matters and recommend the appropriate solutions
• Seek opportunities to add value to client account (i.e. tax planning) and manage client expectations
• Expected compensation range: $75,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience
• This is a new position with the firm
