We are currently seeking a talented Accountant to join our team and work full-time at our esteemed client, National Shunt.

Client Overview:
National Shunt is a renowned transportation and logistics company providing reliable and efficient services to clients nationwide. As a market leader in the industry, National Shunt values innovation, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

Are you an ambitious Accountant with at least 2-5 years of experience looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a growing business? Join our team as an Accountant and contribute to the financial success of National Shunt. This full-time position offers the chance to apply your expertise while gaining valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of financial reporting, including weekly and monthly management reporting, including reporting, analysis, and supporting forecasting activities.
  2. Provide support in understanding and addressing variances to forecast.
  3. Accurately record and process key account transactions, including vendor invoice verification and entry.
  4. Review and allocate costs to ensure precise weekly and monthly reporting and key account reconciliations regularly.
  5. Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with cash management activities, such as aged debtor reporting and follow-up.
  6. Actively participate in annual year-end audits conducted by external firms.
  7. Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to support the finance function.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvement to support business growth and promote continuous improvement.
  9. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to meet dynamic business demands.
Key Technical Skills:

  1. CPA Designation, or actively pursuing CPA certification.
  2. Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  4. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Sage, SAP, or another) is advantageous.
