We have partnered with an established small business to support them in the recruitment process to find their nextAccountant.

Job Type: Direct Hire

This role requires a collaborative, easy-going, fun-loving individual with excellent interpersonal skills in order to work with various departments within this tight knit team. The ideal candidate will possess unwavering attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and multitask, as well as an eagerness to step in where needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Full-cycle accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, remittances, journal entries, etc.
• Preparing year end and providing support to the third party provider for year end filings
• Evaluating and identifying process efficiencies by challenging current procedures and activities
• Work to help resolve ERP issues related to inventory, reports, coding and setup
• Working closely with the owner to not just provide financial reports but sharing perspective, ideas and advice surrounding the information shared
• Other tasks as assigned

Education:

• Post-secondary degree in relevant field

Qualifications:

• A satisfactory criminal record check is required
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years+ of accounting experience

Base Salary: $30.00-40.00 per hour

Work Hours:

• 37.5 – 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday

Remote Work:

• This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
