A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Territory Account Manager for its Dry Eye in-office retail portfolio in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong analytical and relationship-building skills, and drive to expand products in key optometric accounts.
THÉA Pharma is presently recruiting for a Territory Account Manager, Optometry / Dry Eye. This is full time field-based position, covering the Ottawa and Ontario East area from Cornwall to Coburg. This position will report to the Associate Sales Director, Optometry, Eastern Canada. The Territory Account Manager is responsible for driving territory sales growth for the Dry Eye in-office retail portfolio within Optometry. The TAM will also work closely with their Associate Sales Director to identify optometry clinics with high sales potential in the Dry Eye Retail space and build plans to expand the Dry Eye Specialty with these key accounts. A key part of this role is to help drive the corporate identity and reputation of THÉA Canada as a trusted partner for the Canadian Eye Care Community and support the future growth of the organization as we expand our portfolio. Support and drive the awareness, trial and utilization of our diverse Dry Eye In-Office Retail portfolio. Build strong relationships within the Optometric community, incl Optometry Key Opinion Leaders and high potential Dry Eye retailers within the territory. Execution of Dry Eye focused programs, promotions and educational initiatives aimed at furthering the uptake of Dry Eye Management as a specialty within the practice of Optometry. Help to establish and grow the credibility and corporate reputation as a trusted and valued industry partner within the Optometric community. Set the foundation and support the launch of new Dry Eye products. Some limited out of town travel is required, including 3-4 congresses per year on weekends. Strategic selling skills and s trong rapport and relationship building. Entrepreneurial, creative mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment. Strong analytical skills and business acumen with an ability to identify key insights and apply those insights to strategic territory & customer planning. Performance-driven, results-oriented mindset with bias for action. Strategic thinking, multi-tasking with a high level of organization and time management skills. Resourceful self-starter with a proven track-record of top sales performance. A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical / surgical device industry or retail key account sales; previous experience in Optometry is a strong asset.
