Job summary

National Bank of Canada is looking for a financing account representative who can collaboratively support clients in various financing transactions, including document preparation and disbursements.

You will audit financial information and maintain strong communication with account managers, disbursement experts, and legal advisors to tailor solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• 3-year college diploma or academic equivalent related to the sector of activity.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with commercial finance products and banking services.
• Familiarity with commercial collateral types and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Open commercial files and assist clients in financing transactions, including preparation of legal documents and credit facility disbursements.
• Perform audits and analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Establish and maintain effective communications with partners involved in files (account manager, disbursement expert, legal advisors).
• Find solutions customized to customer needs and develop lasting business relationships through distinguished service.
• Participate with the team in improving administrative tools and processes.

• Open commercial files and assist clients in their various financing transactions (assistance in the preparation of legal documents and credit facility disbursements)
• Perform audits and analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Establish and maintain effective communications with the various partners involved in the files (such as account manager, disbursement expert and legal advisors).
• Find solutions customized to customer needs.
• Develop a lasting business relationship with customers by offering them distinguished service.
• Participate as part of a team in the continuous improvement of administrative tools and processes.

Prerequisite:

• 3-year college diploma or academic equivalent, related to the sector of activity and 3 years of relevant experience
• Very good knowledge of commercial finance products
• Knowledge of the different types of commercial collaterals
• Ease with commercial legal documents
• Proficiency in the Office suite, including Word and Excel
• Knowledge of banking services and commercial products
• Demonstrate a good sense of initiative and a good level of autonomy.
