Job description

As the Account Manager, Paid Search, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's digital paid search initiatives. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of search marketing campaigns based on the client's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create, manage and execute strategic digital marketing plans that meet client goals
  2. Create, present and gain client approval on insertion orders, campaign strategies and tactics
  3. Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes
  4. Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clients
  5. Monitor, track, evaluate, report and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investment
  6. Deliver monthly client reports, verify data accuracy, provide analysis and keep clients updated on account status.
  7. Scope and develop new business with companies looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketing
  8. Build a solid partnership with your accounts media planners and the client services team, balancing each other’s expertise to find and develop practical ideas for future media growth, channel expansions or channel optimization
  9. Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications with the assistance of internal resources
  10. Coach and develop the team
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behavior to recommend improvements to accounts
What You Bring:
  1. A true cross channel marketer, with hands-on experience planning and buying across multiple platforms such as Google, Bing.
  2. Google search fundamentals certification
  3. 2-3 years of account/client management experience with complex paid/digital campaigns; multi-level sales/selling into accounts;
  4. Track record of growing account scale and success, delivering great customer experiences through your working relationships on the client side
  5. Technical and analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to use paid media strategy to complement owned and earned media campaigns and meet business objectives
  6. Experience using all digital biddable platforms (Search: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads aka: Bing Ads) and analytical tools (Google Analytics)
  7. High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accounts
  8. Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face in a fast-paced environment
  9. High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  10. Desire to manage and mentor junior members of a team
  11. Knowledge of French language is an asset
Nice-to-Haves:
  1. Additional Google Certifications in digital marketing is an asset
  2. Experience in managing Apple Search Ads
  3. Knowledge and experience with the usage of scripts for automation within Google ads
  4. Demonstrated previous leadership skills
  5. Prior experience in an agency environment highly desired, who have experience in handling media partner representatives and participating on digital media publisher relationships
