Job description

At Vitruvi, we’re on a mission to make people feel at home in their spaces through beautiful, natural air care products. From our award-winning diffusers and humidifiers to our sophisticated aromas and cutting-edge innovation, we combine quality design with safe ingredients to transform homes.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the company to achieve our growth goals as we expand our product offerings into retail. With a hands-on approach, you will establish and nurture partnerships with our corporate gifting clients, own and grow a specific territory of high-performing boutique accounts, and scale and maintain ongoing key account relationships. You are a solutions-focused, detail-driven, and action-oriented leader who drives revenue growth and builds key relationships to meet wholesale channel targets.

The Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage our wholesale department's annual sales and promotional plans by customer, category, and SKU.
  2. Manage your own book of business for the wholesale department, broken out as 50% corporate gifting, 30% boutique, and 20% key accounts, including drop shipping partners.
  3. Lead the team to expand and manage existing accounts to ensure sales plans are achieved, goals are exceeded, and partnership objectives are aligned with overall strategy.
  4. Identify and secure new customers and channels, and build programs to support their scaling.
  5. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts to deepen partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
  6. Meet (and exceed) targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  7. Coordinate internal teams—including support, service, and management resources—to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  8. Proactively lead strategic account planning, including promotions within regional retailers and priority accounts.
  9. Develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and milestones supporting launch, development, and long-term partnerships.
  10. Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
  11. Participate in regular market visits and actively engage with key customers.
  12. Collaborate with Marketing to develop trade and shopper marketing strategies.
  13. Lead, identify, recruit, and retain a diverse team based on strengths and role fit, supported by relevant skills and experience.
  14. Work closely with team members to understand daily business operations and influence strategic decisions.
The Qualifications
  1. Thrives in a high-growth environment.
  2. Exceptional executional skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks efficiently.
  3. Customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented.
  4. Inquisitive personality; dives deep to uncover the “why”.
  5. Action-oriented mindset.
  6. At least 3+ years of experience in the consumer-packaged-goods or natural health food industry.
  7. At least 3+ years of key account management and/or sales experience in Canada and/or the USA.
  8. Experience managing distributor and/or broker relationships.
  9. Team development and leadership experience.
  10. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  11. Organized and detail-oriented.
The Perks
  1. Full extended benefits.
  2. Salary plus commission package.
  3. Remote work flexibility.
