SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER, FINANCING – TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY - Montreal

Position Overview

As a key contributor to financing and credit, the incumbent will leverage their talents to support Canadian business owners' success. This role involves identifying growth opportunities within the technology sector (software, SaaS, e-commerce, AI, media, gaming, telecom, etc.), developing business through financing and consulting, and building relationships with clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology sector business owners and prospects, diagnosing their needs and proposing suitable BDC services.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to grow and retain the technology client portfolio, and acquire new clients.
  • Create and implement a 90-day business development plan with actionable solutions.
  • Analyze, negotiate, and present high-quality loan proposals using sound credit judgment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and interest in technology.
  • Professional accounting designation or in progress (asset).
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role with sales objectives and regional business knowledge.
  • Excellent prospecting, listening skills, and ability to identify business issues.
  • Reputation for accurate advice, proactive customer service, and relationship building.
  • Team player capable of building lasting relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Active community participant, comfortable with cold outreach.

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required.
