Summit Search Group is hiring an Account Manager on behalf of our client, Direct Focus, a North American marketing operations firm headquartered in Winnipeg. Direct Focus is known for helping brands do more with less—integrating, automating, and amplifying marketing strategies to drive results. Backed by a modern workflow, national brand exposure, and an exceptional team, this is a dynamic opportunity for a driven Account Manager ready to lead, grow, and deliver excellence.

As an Account Manager, you’ll play a central role in managing marketing projects, building strong client relationships, and guiding cross-functional teams toward measurable business outcomes. What You’ll Do as an Account Manager:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and drive revenue through account growth and solution delivery.
  • Work closely with a Project Specialist to ensure seamless project execution and communication.
  • Partner with your Account Director to align strategies, improve margins, and grow your book of business.
  • Build deep relationships with clients through insight, responsiveness, and value-added service.
  • Support strategic planning and ensure a strong understanding of your clients’ industries and goals.
  • Create trust and accountability within your team by fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Track, forecast, and deliver against revenue goals and project milestones.
What You Bring as an Account Manager:
  • Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business Administration.
  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in an agency or marketing department environment.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or client-facing role.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing, customer service, or sales is considered an asset.
  • Strong budget management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and motivated with an ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Passion for marketing, people, and—you guessed it—small talk.
