Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an Account Manager based in Peterborough, ON, to expand our electrical distribution business. You will prospect and onboard new accounts, develop strategies to grow sales, and ensure weekly visits to meet coverage targets.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in electrical sales, strong relationship-building, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and experience with CRM software. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience within the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical experience is a must-have.
• Proven ability to build/maintain productive relationships.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Outstanding communication skills, to communicate effectively with all current and prospective customers on a regular basis.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM software.

Job Description

As an Account Manager based in Peterborough, ON, your essential duties will be to:

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 65000 – 90000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package
