What's the role?

Our account managers serve as the primary contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to make construction better by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts and have ownership to create a work schedule that suits both you and your customers. Your responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high-level customer consultation.

What does the role involve?
  1. Building relationships – meet with customers at short notice or be actively present to seize business opportunities. Create value through long-term, profitable relationships.
  2. Time and Territory Management (TTM) – develop a daily schedule, including presence on jobsites and client offices, to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
  3. Be a Hilti Champion – carry technical knowledge to deliver high-level customer consultations and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
  4. Tracking your progress – use Salesforce to record interactions and sales activities, as reporting is a key part of this role.
What you need is:
  1. At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably in a target-driven environment.
  2. Hands-on attitude – demonstrate our tools, use platforms like Salesforce, and collaborate across departments.
  3. Maintain a valid driver’s license; a company car will be provided.
  4. Excellent time and territory management skills.
  5. Ability to walk on construction sites, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds.
  6. Flexible and varied schedule.
  7. Participation in international travel, including initial training in the United States. Visa requirements are your responsibility.
  8. High School diploma or GED (Canadian Adult Education Credential); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
