WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Position Overview: Account Manager position in EPIC’s Main Street (Small Commercial) National platform. Handle all aspects of a small business client’s needs and the relationship independently.

Critical Job Functions:

  • As primary relationship to our clients, respond promptly to client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to agency guidelines.
  • Maintain proper file documentation including properly documenting all phone calls, correspondence, and emails in Nexsure Agency Management System
  • Prioritize workflow and follow standard procedures for processing renewals, remarketing, endorsements, audits, cancellations and claims.
  • Accurately process policy changes on carrier websites or via email. Follow up with carriers to ensure all applications and policy changes are processed in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on agency bill, accounts receivable for renewals, endorsements and audits.
  • Assume ownership of customer concerns and feedback until a successful resolution is achieved.
  • Review client exposures, loss experience and current coverage and provide proactive solutions. Recommend appropriate products and services
  • Claims Management: first reports and some follow-through
  • Remarket and account round accounts according to agency guidelines. Consider the current program and if warranted, provide other options to the client.
  • Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service performance and quality standards

LOCATION: The role is hybrid and open to any US based Epic Brokers office.

Prefer candidates who can work Eastern Standard Time zone.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Minimum three (3) year prior commercial insurance experience
  • Strong customer service skills with an ability to assess insurance coverage needs
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to resolve client issues
  • Articulate, well organized and focused
  • Goal oriented and highly motivated and resourceful to achieve superior results
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant company proprietary databases
  • College graduate preferred or experience equivalent.
  • Broker’s license is required

COMPENSATION: The national average hourly rate is $30.77 to $33.34non-exemptin base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
