A leading company in risk strategy is looking for an Account Manager to oversee financial management for a diverse portfolio of clients. This hybrid role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance, and establishing strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a recognized accounting designation and experience in client management.
The Account Manager is responsible for the daily management and accounting functions of a portfolio of clients that can consist of insurance entities captives and reinsurance pools. This role provides financial monitoring and control and ensures regulatory compliance. It is a consulting advisory and managerial position.
We will count on you to :
Prepare or perform technical review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Statutory or IFRS
Ensure all financial aspects of the client are efficiently managed
Possess technical ability to discuss regulatory updates with clients
Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients prospects client teams other service providers regulators and colleagues
Manage financial audit process with the auditors with strict adherence to client deadlines and regulatory reporting
Perform and executes review of financial statements
What you need to have :
An internationally recognized professional accounting designation such as CA ACCA ACA or CP
CPA Designation or CPA enrolment is an asset OR; 2 years of accounting experience preparation of financial statements preparation of working paper file GL
